Emergency Action Plan is in place

With the severe weather expected in our area, Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District No. 10 (“LID 10”) would like to update you regarding the steps being taken to protect the community.  Our Emergency Action Plan is in place and will be followed accordingly. Coordination with the City of Sugar Land and Fort Bend County is taking place and our operators and engineers are in constant communication with them.

If LID 10 incurs a situation that requires notification to the residents, it will be sent by the same channels you are receiving this message. Otherwise, consider all systems to be working as designed.

As a precautionary measure, please do not place trash cans in the street and avoid parking vehicles in the street until after the event has passed. The residual effects of Tropical Storm Nicholas are anticipated to last several days with the most severe weather for the district occurring tonight and tomorrow.
